This four team trade works because the Jazz and nets had cap and player flexibility plus picks galore to facilitate or even go big game hunting. The lakers may want to maw this move to move their defense. The money works. Is it fair player for player? I would think bowers fans would say giving up too much but reaves and rui haven’t worked over the years and the price to retain them is going way up. Lakers may afford it when lebron is gone but for now the players will want big bucks that doesn’t move the needle this year. Hate in season trades but Claxton and Hendricks is a bold more to shore 🆙 the defense and their is some youth their which also helps the long term . Both have better contracts than what’s going out. Also see Hendrix’s growing into a stud with Luka. Claxton already really good 👍 Should lakers be required to give up a pick? One could argue they are getting more value long term and their trades players could leave the team they are traded on. Maybe there is some draft capital. The reverse could be said that the nets need to add some draft capital. Same could be said of the Jazz Eve though we have lots of players and matching salary and even exceptions could be used. The bucks are getting more talent than what is being sent out. Is a star ⭐️ worth even more just because we want picks and young studs?

For the jazz they have already done many trades for last five years. Swapping stars and young newly drafted talent is always possible with the Jazz. Ainge will try to do anything and everything as he is a gambler. He often wins though so maybe jazz mix it up. They have up to five picks right now. They have plenty of options but let’s move on to the Jazz holding most of those picks. I can’t see any of these four teams getting draft capital if we already have the value in the players rather than future potential value. No guarantee star ⭐️ resigns with the Jazz so why give up the future. I do see the bucks getting great value just in the players and any picks just make it better m. Suspect their jazz and nets add a pick or two because they can. Crazy four team trade for sure .
