Another great option for the Lakers at center is Utah Jazz's Walker Kessler.

A 7ft player who gives you some of th best interior defense in the league and can also play of the P&R with Luka. He sets hard screens and is a good finisher around the basket.

He would however be very expensive to acquire. I have given the Jazz a similar package to the one in the Claxton deal, only with one less first. He would have to be resigned after his 4M team option of his rookie contract expires next year. Lakers would also acquire KJ Martin mainly to match salaries in this deal.

For the Jazz, this doesn't make the most sense, as they would probably look to acquire something more for Kessler, but a good young shooter in Knecht and a contributor in Rui together with a future first is not a ad return
