Jazz know they arent going anywhere. They instead offload Lauri's contract for a pick, an expiring & a few movement shooters to open space for their non spacers & allow Bailey to develop while getting the roster to bottom out for next year's class of forwards. Bailey is best as a SG. A.J. Dybantsa is a good F who goes to BYU & will fit seamlessly once he adds the muscle. COllier is probably the biggest asset that fits their timeline they give up but given their roster, losing a guy who wont see the floor & is at best worth 2 seconds isnt a massive give up. They also get Middleton to play a F spot for this year & lead this young group which is 2-3 years away from contention.
LA - gives up Reeves & Rui + their expiring + Knecht for Lauri + O'Neal + Collier who'd become their bench G. Smart starts, ONeal off the bench both either can start as the primary interior defender based on the matchup. This lineup puts LeBron back to SF & allows him to split his time at PF with Lauri who has a timeline that fits Luka much better. Lauri is a good defender, spacer & secondary scorer but is getting a max in a league where he shouldn't anymore with the current salary cap structure as the 3rd star. Lakers get much-needed secondary & third-line rim protection. This will come in handy when they go small against Jokic who will play Domin-Ayton LOL off the floor while having LeBron guard him, forcing the Nuggets to have Jokic cover Lauri in space. This does however, put heavy pressure on LeBron, Lauri & Luka to carry the offense as scorers who create for their teammates. The bench gets worse but splitting LeBron's & Lukas minutes should offset the offensive side of that. Smart, Ayton, Lauri, ONeal & Vando should be enough defensively to make a deep playoff run.
Suns - Move off Green for Reeves who is a better creator with Booker to share some of the playmaking & scoring load with. They also get rid of Allen's contract for expiring contracts. Should Rui be a good fit they can pay him as well while not going over the cap and get their own pick back so worst case if they decide to tank & sell off parts, should this fail, they can. But the addition of Reeves next to Booker + a defensive stud in Brooks at SF + Rui is a good enough roster to make a playoff push. And Dunn is a solid bench F with good role-playing starter upside.
Wizards - They desperately need scoring next to Sarr who is evolving as a defensive star & roll threat. Enter Green who is a scoring monster. It also allows them to cut CJ should he ask for his release without putting more pressure on their young & frankly bad backcourt to force up bad shots. They do give up 2 picks but I doubt either pick will be better than back end of the lottery.
