Realistic trade that the suns need?????

SUCCESS

Breakdown of the trade from each team's perspective.

Raptors: Get two second-round picks for players who aren't even in their rotation.

Bulls: Bulls trade two veterans for younger players on team-friendly contracts. They also get a second-round pick.

Suns: The Suns' biggest problem is that they only have 6 guys in their rotation that they trust and are very limited in the moves they can make. They do have two trade exceptions (4.5 and 6.5) to work with but they can't package those TE's with other players to get a player on a bigger contract if my research is correct (EX. They cant bundle Nasir Littles' contract and a 4.5 or 6.5 trade exception to get a player that has a contract in the 10-12 million range). In this trade, the Suns put those trade exceptions to use to take a chance on two athletic wings with size who are underperforming this season while also using most of their remaining trade assets to upgrade their backup PG and Center positions. This trade gives the Suns a 7 man rotation they can trust immediately (Book, Beal, Gordon, Allen, Durant, Nurkic, Drummond) with the hopes that one or two players out of McDaniels, Porter, Carter, Okogie, Metu, Bol Bol, KBD turn out to be reliable as the 8th or 9th guy in the rotation.
