MEGA TRADE - Durant to SAC - Irving/Turner to LAL - Westbook/Murray/Mitchell/#1's/Swaps to BKLN - Beverly/Reeves/#1 to INDY

NOTE: The Nets would also get #1 pick swap rights in 2023 (would swap with 76ers pick), 2025, and 2027 from the Kings and in 2026 from the Lakers

The Kings make a huge move to challenge the top teams in the West with the addition of Kevin Durant to form an impressive big 3 with Sabonis & Fox. Seth Curry will battle Malik Monk for the starting SG spot. McConnell gives SAC a solid veteran to take over the backup PG minutes. With the 4 open roster spots the Kings would sign PF Carmello Anthony, C Hassan Whiteside, SF Stanley Johnson and SG Ben McLemore

POTENTIAL KINGS DEPTH CHART AFTER TRADE

C: Sabonis, Metu, Whiteside

PF: Durant, Lyles, Anthony

SF: Huerter, Davis, Johnson

SG: Monk, Curry, Davis

PG: Fox, McConnell, Deladova

The Lakers look to turn things around by rolling the dice on Kyrie Irving to team up with AD and Lebron. Myles Turner will give the Lakers a massive upgrade at C and allow AD to play at his preferred PF spot. Joe Harris will add some shooting to the second unit. Johnson brings some veteran Wing depth, Lakers would cut Wenyan Gabriel to get the roster down to 15.

POTENTIAL LAKERS DEPTH CHART AFTER TRADE

C: Turner, Bryant, Jones

PF: Davis, Toscano, Johnson

SF: James, Brown, Ryan

SG: Walker, Harris, Christie

PG: Irving, Schroeder, Nunn

The Nets break up their "superteam" and land 3 unprotected #1's, 4 pick swaps & 2 recent top 10 picks. Rookie Keegan Murray will take over for Durant at PF and 2nd year man Davion Mitchell will replace Kyrie at PG. Barnes gives them a solid replacement for Harris (with an expiring contract) and another potential trade piece before the deadline. Holmes will bring much needed size and strength at the C spot. The big question is what do the Nets do with Westbrook? I'd imagine a buyout or release will be considered so for now I'll put him in on the bench. Markief Morris would be cut to get the roster to 15. A huge benefit for the Nets in this trade is that it would free up over $42M in cap space for the Nets next season and save owner Joe Tsai $40M+ in luxury tax penalties this year.

POTENTIAL NETS DEPTH CHART AFTER TRADE

C: Simmons, Claxton, Holmes

PF: Murray, Barnes, Sharpe, Warren

SF: Barnes, Watanbee, Edwards

SG: O'Neal, Thomas, Sumner

PG: Mitchell, Mills, Westbrook

Beside the Future unprotected #1 pick the big plus in this trade for the Pacers is shedding the $9m owed to McConnell next year. Reeves is a young, talented low cost wing with big time shooting skills. Okapla had some big moments with the Heat last season and should slot in as the backup PF. Moneke is a young developmental wing project. Beverly will backup Haliburton for now and his expiring contract can likely be flipped for future assets at the deadline. Len gives the Pacers some vet big man depth. Indy would cut Brissett and Taylor to get the roster to 15.

POTENTIAL PACERS DEPTH CHART AFTER TRADE

C: Smith, Bitazde, Len

PF: Jackson, Okpala, Theis

SF: Mathurin, Duarte, Moneke

SG: Heild, Nesmith, Reaves

PG: Haliburton, Beverly, Nembhard
