If both of those things happen then the Spurs trade for Darius Garland rather than a guy like Trae Young. Young would cost them way more than a package like this, and take away touches from Wemby. With Garland, he’ll get some shots, but not nearly as many as Trae. However the Spurs do have to trade Olympic Gold Medalist, Keldon Johnson in the deal, who wasn’t as good this season, but could be a guy that could fill in as a 6th man or spot starter on a contender. Zach Collins is added into the deal for depth and salary purposes.
