They want Reaves, this gives them a FRP & a 2nd, if they tryna rebuild, this is a good trade,they can get better elsewhere but they can also shop Dlo & others to see what they can get for them. They might keep Gabe if he's healthy & play like he did for the Heat. If I'm the Hawks I do this trade if there's not better options, if I'm the Lakers, I get to keep Reaves, get DJ, Bogi & Garrison who can all shoot 3's, Reaves would come off the bench alongside Garrison, Prince, & their recent signings will get a chance, they can play Wood at Center saving AD from all that banging at the C position, playing him at PF, LeBron at SF, DJ can be PG, Bogi can be SG, or LeBron can be the PG & DJ can be SF depending on matchups. This gives the Lakers a chance to try their recent signings & see what they need & take it from there, some of these guys may be good or even great if given a chance, look at Reaves. The Hawks could trade Trae for picks, assuming they're blowing it up, if not they're building around him, personally, they should trade him & keep DJ, he's the all around player but this isn't about that, point is, trading away DJ & Bogi gives more minutes to Hunter & Bey who are both really good & gives other guys on the bench a chance.

This trade is only a mere glimpse of what the Lakers/Hawks can do. I do like the Wizards trade that brings back Kuzma though
