Pacers land their next center, Cavs get boatload of picks

Why do Pacers do this trade? They need a starting caliber center after losing Turner, they can buy lowish on Allen and only send out one 1st round pick, which is still top 5 protected as well as 2 seconds. It might sound like significant draft capital, but they aren't sending out any notable players for Cleveland to get excited about.

Why do Cavs do this trade? They need to shift things up, they need change. It's not a great return but Luke Kennard can help their shooting problems and they do land a first which could have some value come the offseason if they still want to try and contend.

Why do Hawks get involved? To land any kind of draft capital for an expiring contract. The second rounder is the sole reason.
