The Knicks were arguably one of the best-looking teams in the NBA last season. Brunson ran their offense like a genius, with some definite shades of prime CP3. Grimes showed flashes of his 3 & D potential, Randle deserved his all-star appearance and Robinson did Robinson things in the paint. However against Miami they didn't have a great defender, and Butler really exposed the Knicks need for defense. This deal gets them that defense with a boat load of offense. PG is a better offensive player than Barrett, and his defense and offense combined is easily worth this package. If PG could stay healthy I reckon this deal becomes 6-7 frp not just 3 but this is realistic for his lack of playtime recently. For the clippers something needs to change. This is a good young return for the Clippers and could leave them with a starting 5 of Westbrook, Quickley, Barrett, Kawhi and Zubac. With a deep bench Aswell. I reckon this deal definitely helps both teams, and if Kawhi and PG are healthy this could be an NBA finals matchup.
