I really like this. Thoughts?

Reasoning:

It seems like the Lakers are trying to trade for either TM3 or Herb Jones. Both guys can play defense and provide their share on offense, which the Lakers desperately need. The Lakers also get Jordan Hawkins, who has underperformed recently.

The Pelicans sell TM3 and hopefully start a rebuild. The problem is, they really have no cap space in the foreseeable future. So unless they literally waive Zion (his contract is non guaranteed) and get nothing for him, they will have little cap space. Because of this, they prioritize getting guys that can play and develop, like Jake LaRavia and Dalton Knecht, plus control of 2 firsts that could be valuable. Rui gets sent over as the centerpiece of the return, and will most likely get signed back on a cheaper deal.

The Wizards hop in to get another young guy and give up what will probably be the last pick in the draft.
