Obviously, there are a slew of picks that are going to be moved in this deal as well to even out the trade packages, but I wanted to build out the architecture of just the players that would be moved.

Spurs:

• +Move off of Fox's money and get him out of the building, since Harper is better at this point and unhappy with a bench role.

• +Adding another shooter in Hield helps one of their weaknesses, which was consistent perimeter shooting without Wemby getting hot.

• +Daniels is a nice piece moving forward who can maybe be turned into a Draymond Green-esque type player-primarily focused on defense and rebounding, but can give you a scoring jump if required

• -Ball handling is going out the door in a league where lack of ball handling costs you in the playoffs in a major way

• -Becoming incredibly reliant on Harper and Castle taking the jumps we think they will to still have good guard play.

Celtics

• +Finally pull the trigger on the deal that has been discussed in the shadows and on Bill Simmons pods for months and months and bring in Giannis to pair with Tatum

• +The Jaylen Brown chemistry problem is solved

• +Okungwo and Queta pair well together as a two big lineup or separately with Giannis

• -We will see if addition by subtraction is true here

• -Giving up many picks to make this work with a team that suddenly looks not very youthful is a risk

Bucks

• +The Giannis saga is over, and you receive what will be a slew of picks to jumpstart the new era of Milwaukee basketball

• +Kuminga gets a chance to be in the driver's seat on a team with no expectations

• +NAW is coming off an incredible season, and his contract is cheap compared to his value as a player

• -The player return for Giannis is weak

• -Who knows if picks work out to get someone as good as Giannis in the future

Hawks

• +Jaylen Brown and Fox pair to lead the new era of Atlanta basketball, alongside Jalen Johnson

• +No players going out the door had a ton of value for you moving into the new world of this trio

• +Get out from might be an awful deal with Daniels

• -NAW will be missed

• -Okwungo will be missed

Overall Thoughts This trade gives all parties what they want in that they all move on from problems each of them has. The epitome of my problem for your problem. Atlanta basketball is interesting again, the Celtics assemble their great duo that has been rumored for some time now, the Bucks finally move on and get a slew of draft picks(not pictured in this trade, but we all know the Bucks need a bunch of picks in order to do this) for Giannis, the Spurs move on from Fox after Harper has proven himself in the playoffs and get some useful players in return that give flexibility to the rotation.

I view this trade as being very possible to happen in reality if all parties are willing to be bold and don't covet their own draft picks like they're a lifeline from Milwaukee or Atlanta. Each team moves closer to where they are trying to go.
