Lamelo heads to Dallas in this mock trade (money works).

Dallas doesen't give up any key draft assets - only a bad pick swap first and a top 10 protected first as well as two seconds. Not a great haul for Charlotte but what better haul could they possibly get for Lamelo? A star player with his issues don't sell high.

Charlotte gets tradable players in Klay and Naji Marshall - contending teams could look to boost depth. These players might net more seconds or some youth. Mavs lose some depth, but realistically only two contribuitng players and they need to make the money work somehow.

Mavs could still pivot from AD, and maybe a Bulls trade lands you Coby White, which you could say is better value at this stage than Lamelo, but Lamelo clearly has a higher ceiling and would greatly benefit this Mavs team. Maybe Mavs make top 10 protected pick top 5 instead? Thoughts?
