I think this one is slightly more realistic. I think Wizards fans are gonna dislike it, but Jaden McDaniels fits pretty well alongside Sarr and Trae, and definitely improves their defense. Considering that Middleton is gone this summer, Bagley and Whitmore have both been unable to really carve out a significant role, and the FRPs are going to be late lottery early 20s ish likely. Turning that into McDaniels, expiring money, and Gary Trent Jr is not so bad. Maybe we can throw some of the seconds to them if it really needs to work out.
For the bucks the player package is uninspiring. Middleton brings the vibes, Randle helps the team win games without its first rounder, Dillingham, Beringer, and Whitmore all have lottery ticket potential. This package however comes with 5 first rounders, including the chance to get our own back in 2027 and 2028 depending on how other swaps play out. We also obtain many more picks in 2026, which could potentially allow us to move up to get another player in this stacked class.
Wolves get Giannis, Bobby/Bagley to replace their big rotation, and Gary Harris to replace Conleys defense lost while losing only really Randle and McDaniels in terms of rotation players.
