SUCCESS

Oklahoma City Thunder
  • The Greatest Team in NBA history: Acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo creates a historically dominant "Big Three" with Shai and Jalen Williams to assemble perhaps the best team in NBA of all times, guaranteeing a championship window for the next 4+ years.

  • Frontcourt Insurance: Isaiah Hartenstein's contract is hard to sustain. Steven Adams provides the durable, veteran interior presence needed for a deep playoff run.

Milwaukee Bucks
  • Clean Slate: With the team hovering below the Play-in line and the Giannis era stagnating, this trade provides an unprecedented eight-pick haul, most of which are projected to be lottery picks, to kickstart a total franchise reset.

  • Jumpstart: Moses Moody and Hansen are two great young talents to allow Milwaukee to remain competitive in the short term while they evaluate their young core and draft assets over the next three seasons.

Houston Rockets
  • The Missing Piece: Jrue is perhaps the best player to fit their roster. A do-it-all PG who can defend, create, space the floor, and most importantly: one of the smartest, experienced champions the league has to offer.

Portland Trail Blazers
  • Generational Foundation: By landing Chet Holmgren, Portland secures a 23-year-old "Unicorn" who fits perfectly next to Donovan Clingan. The team becomes a defensive and rebounding giant with Caruso, Sharpe, Avdija, Camara, Chet and Clingan.

  • Cap space for Deni Avdija: Moving from Jerami Grant and Jrue Holiday allows the team enough Cap space to open Deni's Contract in 2027. They must do that to not see him leave for free in 2028 (or enter a bidding war), since, according to the CBA they can't realistically extend his contract.

Golden State Warriors
  • Curry's Last Dance: if the Warriors still want to compete while Curry is still there, this is their chance: Isaiah Hartenstein provides the high-level passing and rim protection and rebounding the Warriors' system needs, filling the massive void at Center that has plagued them all season. And Jerami Grant (20 PPG) offers a versatile, two-way wing presence and shooting (40% from 3p) to relieve the scoring burden on Steph Curry, maximizing the final years of Curry’s prime with a more balanced and athletic starting five.
