1st Move: Jerami Grant Trading for Jerami Grant would be great for the Lakers. It will make a little room for the Deandre Ayton Signing plus Jerami Grant will fill the role of DFS while having that scoring ability that Rui Hachimura have.

2nd Move: $8.00 mil Dump I think Deandre Ayton would prefer a Full NTMLE or $16.0 Mil from the Lakers even though he got paid by Portland $35.0 mil by waiving his contract. In order to do that the Lakers have to Salary dump Shake and Kleber for Josh Okogie's contract ($7.70 Mil) to free some cap space for Ayton. Lakers are getting Josh Okogie to fill the Dalton Knecht role.

3rd Move: Sign CP3,Melton, and Hayes Chris Paul would love to play his last year to his home and MAYBE competing for a championship. Melton is an undersize Shooting Guard but he can shoot the ball in the 3 point line, good pick up for the Lakers. Jaxson Hayes return as a back up center, he will be great for the team now that he will play with a lot of playmakers.

Lakers preparing for the 2027 Free agency while having a competitive and contending lineup. in 2026 and 2027 the Lakers would free a lot of cap space because LeBron might retire by then and all of the signings that the Lakers did will be expired in that same year. Extending Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves should be the next move.
