The Celtics improve their PG position by getting a proven passer and very good all around player in Dejonte Murray. They also trade for Malcolm Brogden who becomes their Swiss army knife off the bench. He can play and defend anywhere from 1-3 on the court. Having him come off the bench also helps him stay healthy as he's been banged up the last few years. They also get a proven shooter in Hield who can take some of the pressure off of Tatum and Brown. The Celtics have been killed on the boards because of their lack of size. By trading for Collins and Smith they add some much needed size to their front court while also getting a bit younger.
