New Orleans:
In the midst of the Ingram trade talks, New Orleans decides to pull the trigger and send him to Houston. In return, the team gets two very valuable veterans who can uplift this roster. Vucevic is a great JV replacement, as he can do a lot on offense like shoot, score in the paint and set screens/do handoff. He can be a great backup to Yves Missi. Dillon Brooks has had a great year and is a glue guy who can score a little bit and play some pesky defense. Overall, a good return.
Houston:
They grab Ingram. Houston missed the play-in tournament last year and this along with the addition of Reed Sheppard automatically upgrades this roster. Last season, the Rockets have caught themselves losing leads in close games in the fourth quarter. Now, the Rockets can feed Ingram the ball and make a play/get a bucket and make something out of nothing. In theory, Ingram is a playmaking forward that can get his teammates easy buckets. If they don't work out however, which is a clear possibility, Houston don't have to extend him, which means Ingram would be off the books and become a free agent by the end of next season.
Bulls:
They were able to get a pick out of Vucevic despite his decline, and even get Adams and i guess Earl is fine. Adams is still fairly valuable so the Bulls can get more valuable for him in the future
