Zach LaVine (as many people know) doesn't seem happy most the time with the Bulls. Most trades out there have them getting a young prospect, a veteran player and 3 1st. Knowing that, this what I came up with.
Reasons Why The Bulls Do It: The Bulls would rather have LaVine on the team then off but if he requests a trade (Like I said earlier) this package is around his value. They get 3 1st, a vet that can start or come of the bench now, and a young prospect who has shown some flashes here and there. The Bulls could find a better offer out there maybe, but I personally would like to see Luka get another Star next to him since you really never know with Kyrie and if he stays or not, so I decided to stick with this trade. The trade also gives them 20 million in cap space to use for a different trade or free agency.
Reasons Why The Mavs Do It: This is a reassurance/backup plan. If they don't get back Kyrie you want to reassure Luka you will build around him and give him the pieces to succeed. Yes it hurts losing some fan favorites like Hardaway and giving away picks for the future, but it's needed if you want to fight for a championship. LaVine and Doncic aren't the greatest defensive and struggle at time, but the scoring output of those two would be dangerous.
Reasons Why The Spurs Do It: 2 reasons why, Coach Pop loves Bertans and they get more picks. The Bertans contract is not good at all so you have to give up picks to have a different team take him off your hands. Coach Pop has praised Bertans on many occasions in the past. For him to get him back and picks with Bertans, seems like a smart move. You have the cap space but the picks are good for their rebuild.
Reasons Why The Nets Do It: The Nets are in a weird spot right now. They have enough talent to fight for a playoff spot but have the picks and young talent to rebuild for the future. Green has show flashes of great play. The Nets might be willing to take a risk on him and see what he can do (probably off the bench) the 1st will be 25-30 realistically and giving it up probably won't hurt that bad.
