with livelys continous growth he might takeover gafford starting min and will most likely have to sit off the bench. Gafford is a starting calibre center and eventually could be unhappy in that role. Pelicans acquiring Gafford would easily solve their center rotation problems

this year will be PJ'S make or trade ssn if he wont be able to fo his job. PJ'S scoring is not much gon be needed since klay is playing that 3rd option. PJ'S role will turn into DJJ's where he has to be defensive liability with the starting and closing lineup up and must be able to knockdown shots whenever he has the ball. Mavs acquiring Herb jones would cover up klay defense deficiency and be a defensive liability in starting and closing line up. PJ is a good defender but he is not as elite as Herb Jones.
