Hornets also receive a 2033 Second Rounder and Cash Considerations* ————————————————————————— Trade #1-
Hornets select Ryan Conwell
Trade Analysis- The Hornets make a serious move to push themselves into the Eastern Conference conversation and cash in some roster flexibility for a proven offensive engine in Sabonis. By moving out expiring and movable contracts, Charlotte comes away with an established hub who fits nicely alongside Ball, Knueppel, Miller, and Diabate while still keeping extra draft capital and roster flexibility. For a team trying to stop rebuilding and start competing, this is an aggressive but understandable swing.
The Kings finally commit to a different direction and begin reshaping the roster. Josh Green and Tre Mann give them younger rotational options while Miles Bridges provides veteran production that can either help stabilize the group or become another movable asset later. The fact that multiple contracts are easier to pivot off makes the transition cleaner.
