Milwaukee does this because:

• Paul George makes the money work

• They get the best scorer from the 2024 draft class so far and two interesting projects with potential

• The picks they get are high-quality which they will own

Philly does this because:

• They make a move for contention and Giannis has a better injury history than PG making a duo of Giannis + Maxey for most of the regular season

Golden State does this because:

• Once Steph, Jimmy, and Draymond are gone they're gonna need assets to fall back on and the draft is a game of quantity

OKC does this because:

• They get a big forward

• Push back on lottery picks

• Free up a spot on the roster
