Rumor Has Mitch to the Grizzlies for the #9, 2 2nds, and Luke Kennard's contract, so we'll put that piece in here. You can remove a 2nd if you think that's too much for the Grizz to give up.

Looney has a low guarantee for next season (2 mil), and rumors have the Warriors cutting him in order to reduce Cap penalties, so why not do this instead...

Warriors trade Wiggins, Looney, and a future top-5 protected 1st (2026) to New York. In return, they receive:

Kennard (1 yr / 14.7 mil) Bojanovich (1 yr / 19 mil) Jericho Simms (1 yr / 2 mil) The #25 pick (1st rounder, guaranteed at salary slot of 2.18 million) the #38 pick (high 2nd rounder, but no set salary) 2025 protected WAS pick (converts to 2 2nds after 2026 if not conveyed by then) 2026 2nd rounder

Depending on the Klay situation, Warriors could use Kennard or Bojan. But Bojan only has 2 mil guaranteed, and Kennard has a Team Option so they could release both, shave around 33 million in salary, and have cash to try to resign Klay or CP3 while ducking under the second apron, all while gaining 2 (lower salary) picks in this year's draft and Simms at 2mil to help fill their roster / play with Pods, Trace, and Kuminga. It's a way to gain youth and move forward without a full reset.

Knicks add insurance against OG or Hartenstein leaving in Looney and Wiggins (while keeping tradeable salaries), add the #9 this year for the Mitch piece, and enhance their powder keg of future picks by swapping the protected '25 WAS 1st and a 2nd for the protected GSW '26 1st.
