This week’s challenge was to trade Ben Simmons to a lottery team- and I thought the Pelicans would fit best. I remembered Zion wanted out a bit ago and I thought I could corporate those 2 things into this challenge-

Why would the Pelicans do this? Like I said, Zion wants out and and replacing him with Ben Simmons and a bunch of picks from the 76ers and Thunder- along with Josh Giddey is a great return for a team looking to go into rebuild mode.

Why would the 76ers do this? The combination of Joel Embiid and Zion in the front court will be unstoppable and will make the 76ers easy finals contenders. Simple as that. Along with pieces such as Tobias Harris, Andre Drummond, Seth Curry and Tyrese Maxey.

Why would the Thunder do this? The Thunder stack up on picks (like they usually do) and get young, developing players that fit their needs. Yes, trading away Josh Giddey might not benefit them in the long run, however Thybulle is basically Giddey but more developed, and Jaxson Hayes’ athleticism at the 5 will be great.
