Pacers fans will say: Murray is too inefficient, doesn't shoot well from 3, and doesn't have All-Star on his resume. We need more.

Spurs fans will say: Have you seen Murray's numbers? He's almost averaging a triple double. No way we trade him.

The reality: Sabonis is an All-Star. Murray plays the 1, and pretty well, which is a more valuable position than what Sabonis plays. Even though offenses can work through Sabonis with his playmaking skills. Pacers need a true PG (Brogdon is a 2) and Sabonis seems like a Pop type of guy. While I think its unlikely either team moves these guys, their value is relatively equal. Both teams don't have adequate replacements right now, but will have solid prospects to look at in the draft. This seems to be much more likely as an offseason deal than a deadline deal as well.

*This is also assuming SAS would move Poetl in another deal. Maybe to Toronto for a lottery or top 20 protected first + salary filler
