Suns: The suns core is expensive, aging, and not very good. So the suns move off of the two that are still valuable for 9 picks, a few veterans that can be flipped, and some young guys who can help build for the future. In addition they get back to wire own picks to tank should they feel the need.
Potential starting lineup: Vanvleet, Wallace, Beal, Thompson, hartenstein
Trade candidates; vanvleet, jones, Beal, hartenstein
Nets: The nets swap three firsts for 4 firsts, and O’Neal, who can be flipped later
Rockets: The rockets clear up their logjam of players, and move completely in the contending category
Starting lineup: Sheppard, green, booker, smith jr, sengun
Thunder: The thunder simply have way to many picks, and probably won’t find a use for them. This trade is a risk, as Durant may not remain as a top 20 player for very long, but they can afford to take the risk. In addition, they move to being clear championship favorites for a few years until their core completely develops
Starting lineup: Shai, Caruso, Williams, Durant, holmgren
