The Pacers solidify their 4 spot for the foreseeable future by adding a pick-and-roll threat who can flourish finishing lobs from Haliburton. Collins will also be able to stretch the floor and open up driving lanes for Haliburton and Mathurin. Ultimately, I believe Collins is still a talented player and he’d have the chance to flourish in Indiana’s offense as they push for a playoff spot.

The Hawks get off of Collins contract while not taking back much money in return. They likely won’t get much from Duarte or Smith but adding a first round pick this year that should be around pick #20 should be nice.
