Why each team does this:

Cavs: Cavs do this because they sign Lebron while also getting Bronny and Sam Hauser to replace Max Strus. They could then also resign Dean Wade to a better contract AND possibly get a replacement PG if they wanted to as well with 20 mil in cap space left.

Lakers: Lakers do this because they get the cap space to sign Jalen Duren (ignore the 2.9 M contract I messed that up lol), while also getting additional veteran role players as well to a young team like the Lakers. They mainly trade Vando and Ayton while getting better replacements and a GREAT center to play with Luka. W trade for the Lakers.

Pistons: Pistons do this trade because they get a star role player to play alongside Cade while getting a Duren replacement in DenominAyton lol. They would realistically trade Robinson, Levert, Holland to do this plus maybe 2 or 3 first round picks so not bad.

Celtics: Celtics do this trade because you get great role players in Robinson, Levert, Holland, Vanderbilt, AND Thiero. (Pls ignore Stewart he’s on the grizzlies but I just had to trade him cause for money purposes lol). Celtics also get 1st round picks and would probably realistically get 3 I would think which the Pistons have but I just did 2 to be safe haha.
