Since the Lakers clearly aren’t interested in giving Dalton Knecht much of a role and seem to have basically buried him, why not move him somewhere he can actually play? I think OKC could be a really good fit for him.
Knecht is a natural three level scorer, but one of his biggest strengths is what he does without the ball. He moves well, works through screens, and can knock down catch-and-shoot or transition threes. That kind of off ball scoring and spacing would fit really well next to a drive heavy creator like SGA.
At 6'6" with a 6'9" wingspan, he also gives OKC some extra size on the wing compared to some of their smaller guards. He'd fit pretty well with Daigneault's preference for versatile players who can defend multiple positions while still giving you real shooting and scoring on the perimeter.
