Why the Lakers do it: Salvage the 2023 season by getting off Westbrook's contract and getting a top 20 player in Kyrie who will be motivated to earn his next contract. Think of it like 1 FRP to get off Westbrook contract and 1 FRP to get back a better player than the one you are sending out.

Why the Nets do it: The combination of Conley + Bogey gives the Nets additional depth with 2 high-level starting caliber players to replace Kyrie, who was a non-factor for them last year. The 2023 FRP will likely be in the high 20's.
