Saving the Nuggets when Watson Signs a Mega Deal

SUCCESS

Watson will sign a mega deal with who knows so the nuggets need to add depth and try and convert lesser contracts into something that will make the Nuggets compete in the Younger Raising West. Spurs, OKC, Wolves, and don’t sleep on the Jazz.

All these teams have bodies to throw at Jokic, so we keep more steady players in order to keep this team relevant within a 82 games season.

Jokic, Gordon, Braun, and Murray all broken down by the end of the second round and we lost bits a pieces of them throughout the season as well.

Will we have a healthy season, who knows? But Adding: Ty Jerome, will release ball handing on Murray and have a consistent ball handler on the second unit.

Duncan Robinson, Nuggets slowly go down the pipe line of tall 3pt shooters, MPJ, to Cam, and now Duncan. He may be a cone of defense, but he’s shown flashes of being consistent. But if he plays with Jokic, he can somewhat be the off ball shooter that we need. While Braun try’s and survives on defense guarding whomever.

Pj Washington, goes to a winning environment. Unfortunately, leaving his hometown Dallas to go to Denver, where he’ll be the Gordon Backup/starter at the 3? Gordon hasn’t been healthy for 2 years, but we haven’t acknowledged that he lost his brother, while taking ownership of his children. So adding PJ, will release the stress of Gordon, while adding some back up defense that we’re missing from P-Wat.

Denver sends out all the players that they have besides the top 4 heavy contracts. Despite having not a lot of draft capital, they can add sweeteners to all deals like the 2 draft pick acquired draft night and the 2032 second round. Ownership, should not be afraid of letting go players, that a previous head office did.
