Finally, they open up a starting role for Bennedict Mathurin who has been great to start the season.

The Pistons add an elite POA wing defender to pair with Ausar Thompson, who is also an elite shooter. Additionally, they add Isaiah Jackson to replace Isaiah Stewart at the backup 5, who is young and has shown flashes in Indiana when given an opportunity.
