These Are Three Different Trades:

First Trade:

Miami Receives: Vanvleet

Raptors Receives: Robinson, Vincent, Jovic and 2023 first round pick.

Second Trade:

Miami Receives: Dragic and Drummond

Chicago Bulls Receives: Dedmon and 2 second round picks

Third Trade:

Miami Heat Receives: Porzingis

Washington Wizards Receives: Lowry, Collins, and Strus

Atlanta Hawks Receives: Barton, Hachimura, and 2029 top 10 protected from the Heat

Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat: They upgrade their team completely. Vanvleet although is having a down year is still having a better season then Lowry. Prozingis moves Bam to his natural position of Power forward which would elevate his defense and his offensive play. Dragic brings scoring off the bench and Drummond Helps the heat with backup center minutes because their current backup center is terrible.

Toronto Raptors: This trade would signify a rebuild. For a rebuild this is a good return for a player. They get two young players one on a long term deal and a first round pick. The bad thing about this is Duncan's contract but If they still want to somewhat compete Duncan could help them as they have been a really bad three point shooting team this season. Duncan is in a slump this season but has looked like his former self these past couple of games. They have the players to compensate for Duncan's defense. Vincent brings the heat a defensive playmaker who can hit tough shot and Jovic brings a young player with a lot of potential.

Washington Wizards: This trade upgrades their current team to playoff contenders. Collins brings a lob threat to the team, Lowry brings playmaking, and Strus adds shooting. This trade also gives Kuzma another incentive to stay on the team.

Chicago Bulls: They save money in the long run because Drummond is owed 3.5 million for another year but Dedmon is owed 1.7 million if cut before a certain point next season. Dragic is a player who more then likely leaves in the offseason so getting 2 seconds for them would be a win.

Atlanta Hawks: They get off collins contract while adding a young power forward and another scoring threat off the bench. Also the players they add are on one year contracts.
