Suns need depth and have no way to get it other than moving Ayton. Batum and Covington are veteran 3 and D guys who would fit perfectly with the new look Suns. Zubac can replace a good amount of what Ayton did at a third of the price.

Clippers choose to shake their roster up and hope that Ayton has more to his game than he’s shown. He would be featured more because PG and Kawhi rarely play. Giving up three role players for a young #1 pick with upside is a smart move by the clippers.
