Denver gets a nice return for Murray while freeing up 19 million in cap space off this trade alone. Avoiding any potential Watson situation while getting a new PG and the perfect Aaron Gordon replacement in Smith. With the newly found cap space, Denver could even go for a cheap(er) 3 and D guard in free agency like Keon Ellis on top of resigning Watson. This trade answers a lot of questions and uncertainties Denver may have.

Toronto gets Jamal Murray for Quickley, Gradey and 1 (or 2) FRP. Kind of a home run move for them here.

Bulls gets 3 young players and 2 first round picks in the upcoming draft. Perfect for a rebuilding team and they could easily ride out Quickleys contract if they don’t want him. As they won’t be competing in the next couple years anyway. His contract is only 7mil a year more than Giddeys anyway. It’s nothing debilitating.
