IDK how much people value Gafford and White but i think this is fair IMO.
Boston: saves money and brings in a great center on a cheap deal. Jardy is a great bench piece as well that will help bolster this team until tatum gets back. it will hrut losing White but he is on an expensive deal. They also get 4 mil expiring and a SRP as well. I think this will help them solve their center problem because I would not be happy starting Nemas Queta if I were them.
Dallas: Gives up expendable assets to address their greatest need post Kyrie Injury. Klay wasn't it, and they have made Gafford available (from what I remember). I think Dallas would be willing to give this stuff up to obtain an efficient shooter and fantastic defender in white because "defense wins championships". Additionally, they use Klay to trade for Isaiah Stewart, crashout bench defender who will bring a lot of intensity to the bench and allows Dallas to feel comfortable starting lively. Additionally, I think in a pinch Stewart could start next to AD as well. They send Klay, OMP and an SRP to the Pistons (I needed to find a third team to take on salary). With these trades, Dallas solidifies their defensive identity on the perimeter and off the bench.
Detroit: The Pistons elect to move Beef Stew in preference to bring in more shooting around Cade. It worked last year, and bringing in Klay, Levert, and Robinson would make the Pistons one of the best 3pt teams in the league. Additionally, they get an SRP and OMP as additional incentives due to Klay's age and decreasing consistency.
Let me know what yall think! Is dallas overpaying for either player? If any of them, id say dallas is overpaying for Beef Stew, but hey who knows what Nico Harrison is capable of?
Note: I am not sober right now so maybe sober me will think this trade is awful.
