Denver should be looking to package the salaries of Saric and Nnaji with their 2031 first to add a inside-out scorer, and in this trade they get a Jokic backup improvement on De’Andre Jordan (who I love but he is too old to be playing serious playoff minutes)

Banton has proven to be an elite scorer, able to go off in small bursts, and Timelord is ideal for Denver, providing athleticism and defense, two areas where Joker doesn’t excel.

In terms of Value, that 2031 first rounder is extremely valuable, Denver will be well past their Championship window and Joker most likely retired. Timelord and Banton are worth no more than this first due to Injury concerns and lack of consistency.

Taking on the salaries of Nnaji and Saric shouldn’t be an issue for Portland who are only on the second year of thier rebuild.
