Sixers offseason plan

SUCCESS

It’s no secret the Bulls are calling all over the league looking for somewhere they can dump Zach Lavine. Nobody wants his contract and Chicago will likely have to include assets to get out from under it. However, Chicago can still get assets in return for LaVine if they’re willing to include other player(s).

Caruso Seems like the obvious option here, but a team lead by DeMar DeRozan and Coby White aren’t winning anything and Chicago may as well capitalize on whites value before they overpay him and he’s another negative asset.

Sixers lineup:

White/Maxey/Lavine/Smith/Embiid Lowry/Fournier/Marshall/Batum/Drummond Payne/Council/RoCo/Martin/(rookie big)

White and Maxey are the Sixers starting backcourt for the next decade. I think they complement each other perfectly.

LaVine isn’t the ideal small forward but he’ll certainly help the Sixers scoring issues.

Jalen Smith is a great fit (in my amateur opinion) as the final guy in the Sixers starting lineup. He’s a big strong wing that can crash the glass, get rebounds, and sink the occasional 3. He can also rotate in at center if Embiid misses time.

Sixers also give a couple year deal to Naji Marshall, I think he’s an excellent 3&D wing they could lock down for a while.

Sixers also bring back Andre Drummond to solidify the backup center role. Also draft another Center in the 2nd round to develop.

Sixers use their French connections through Embiid and Batum to Lure in Fournier for a near minimum contract.

Sixers move on from key role players like Kelly Oubre and Buddy Hield, but are able to retain much of their roster on minimum contracts.

I think this is reasonable but I’m also positive 100 first round picks probably wouldn’t be enough to get the bulls to move off of White.
