For thunder- obviously a very hefty price for the 9th pick. But Kenrich and Aaron were both guys who did not play a lot in the playoffs. And only having to trade away #17 and #30 is not that hefty of a price, especially with the Denver pick likely to not be too powerful, and if it is top 5 it will not convey.
For Mavericks- obviously not ideal, but I feel the Thunder might have some more leverage in this situation saying they could probably pivot to other options. 17 and 30 are both solid value, and Wiggins and Williams are both solid young contributors. Even then, you get $16 million freed up in cap space the year after.
Please give me feedback as yall see fit. Do you see this being a trade made before/on draft night?
