Adding a premier two-way talent like Davis would elevate Atlanta to the top of the conference for good.

If the Lakers continue their spiral, teams should be monitoring the availability of Davis, who's averaging 23.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks this season. Atlanta would be an ideal fit, both with its never-ending quest to add defense around Trae Young and the Klutch connection that links Davis, Young and Dejounte Murray.

A starting five of Young, Murray, De'Andre Hunter, Davis and Clint Capela may be the best in the East.

Of course, the Lakers aren't going to trade Davis for just prospects and draft picks and will need some win-now talent back in return.

Collins, 25, should thrive as a lob threat and floor-spacer in a larger role in L.A. He's a lifetime 37.2 percent shooter from three and has worked his way into being a better defender in year six. A former 21.6 point-per-game scorer, he could once again put up 20 and 10 a night playing next to LeBron James.

Okongwu, an L.A. native and USC product, would become the Lakers' starting center and has elite defensive potential. Per 36 minutes of play this season, the 21-year-old is putting up 15.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks and making 67.2 percent of his shots. Okongwu could break out with a starting job with the Lakers and Holiday is a solid three-and-D veteran who Los Angeles could use as well.

With Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes reporting that the Lakers are known to covet Bradley Beal, L.A. now has four first-round picks they can offer the Washington Wizards for the All-Star shooting guard.

As good as Davis is, the Lakers are going nowhere with him. This is a chance to reset the roster around James, adding in more youth, shooting and trade assets overall.
