seperate trades but if the bucks do these i think they can be championship contenders, if they don’t play capela with giannis on the court. i think the warriors accept this because they get turner, a big man who can defend and shoot, kuzma, scoring man off the bench, and rollins a key young guard to carry the light once curry retires (not a joke) plus the fact that butler is getting paid 54 million off a acl tear, not something to have when your star is damn near 40 almost retired. why the bucks accept this, they get a good second option in butler and good spacing in dfs and defender. plus a good backup big man and rim protecter when giannis is out and to cover bobby portis as a rim protecter in capela. why the rockets accept this, they get good shooter (which they need) and defenders (which is what they are). projected rockets lineup pg: sheppard sg: thompson sf: kd pf: jabari c: sengun, this trade only affects their bench, which includes fvv, okogie, prince, trent, adams, eason. i see them being a 3dd seed. projected warriors lineup pg: curry sg: podz (unless they start rollins at the 2) sf, gui santos pf: porzingus c: turner. bench: rollins, melton, kuzma, (horford probably retires right?) moody, draymond green, and gary payton. i see them being a 7th seed, more wins than last season, they would need to make more moves to be contenders. bucks projected lineup pg: kpj sg: jimmy sf: dfs (unless osama dang gets better) pf: giannis c: portis. bench includes maybe a guard they sign maybe like tre jones if that’s possible or tyus jones, aj green, capela, osama dang, alex. i see them being like a 4/5th seed, which maybe might need role players to step up unexpectedly. they would also need to play capela only when gianni’s is off the court.
