It depends on what you think save means. Ben will not likely be an all-star ever again. But I think he can be an effective role player pushing the pace and getting Wemby open looks. His defense can still be elite and he'll play the dunkers spot when Wemby plays perimeter. Also worth noting this will be the first time in his career he'll play with a floor-spacing big rather than Embiid who is a dominant post-scorer and Claxton who is a more traditional big. The good thing is you have one year to see what Ben is then he's an expiring contract you can move to a team that wants cap flexibility or release him after two years.

The Nets get rid of Ben for practically cap space and second-rounders.
