Why do this:

Pelicans: Pair Zion Williamson with an all-star caliber point guard.

Lakers: Add additional scoring power and depth.

Hornets: Trade LaMelo (who isn't happy there right now) and acquire young assets and draft capital. Allows Kneuppel and Miller to develop as the first/second options.
