Jazz: well obviously jerami grant didnt have a great year at all, but i feel like taking a flyer at him could positively benefit the jazz and they might be able to flip him for another player down the line. And robert williams is on an expiring contract so they can either just let him walk or trade him at the trade deadline. Blazers: you obviously have to also consider the fact that it may have just been a down year for grant, and he could return to becoming that 20ppg 45%fg and 40% three point shooter he was the season prior. But I feel like this move would benefit the jazz because jerami is in his early 30's while lauri is in his mid to late 20's, which means that he is in or entering his prime, and i still think he still has some room to improve to become the teams first scoring option for maybe this and next season
