Why Heat do it:

Michael Porter Jr is a legit young piece with all-star potential that fits perfectly with the current core of Bam+Herro. All the Heat need to do is suck for 2 years and get nice draft picks, then contracts like Rozier, Robinson, etc.. will expire during a STACKED free agency. Miami being a top free agent destination is likely to get something nice, scoring on signing D'Aaron Fox would probably be the best outcome for them. Add a 2031 unprotected pick that should be very valuable in the future along with a pick swap, and this should be enough to convince Pat Riley to let go.

Why Nuggets do it:

Jimmy is a perfect fit next to Jokic and Murray, it's a no brainer to trade for someone like Jimmy when you are going for a championship and your star core fits perfectly with him. He's also much needed for defensive reasons, he would be the one to guard all the different stars in the west like ANT, Luka, Shai, etc...
