Few trades aggregated due to cap concerns...

HOU trades for Trey Young & Capella. Outgoing is Freddy (redundant w/ Trey), Steven Adams (ditto w/ Capella), Tari Easton, the #3 pick, the 2026 Brooklyn 1st, and swap rights in '28. Atlanta gains some picks while getting a PG that's used to playing with other PGs (Murray). If anything, HOU ends up attaching more picks (or maybe put in Amen Thompson) to get a Young-Green-Brooks-Smith-Sengun lineup

Spurs trade the #4 and #8 picks for the #1 pick, which has been going around, and get Risacher; To make it happen, Spurs throw in the 2025 bulls 2nd as a sweetener / since they have 7 picks in that draft.

Atlanta turns around and uses the #4, the 2025 Bulls 2nd, and some of the gained cap space from the Rockets deal to take LaVine from Chicago. CHI escapes cap hell, and get Hunter's contract in the deal. CHI gets to add the #4 and #11 to White/DeRozen/Vuk - rumors have them high on Clingan, and he's not lasting to #11.

So, Atlanta moves Trey, Hunter, Capella and the #1 pick. They end up with a potential starting lineup of VanFleet, Murray, LaVine, JJohnson, and Okongwu, with Bogs / Adams / Eason off the bench. In addition, they end up with depth / potential starter / controllable salaries with 2 top 10 picks in this draft (and can sign both without going over the cap), the 2026 BK pick and a swap in '28 - It's not the picks from the Murray trade back, but they get younger overall, stay competitive with 3 all-stars that fit better together, and they still have trade assets to play with moving forward.
