Line Up: Schröder Reaves DFS LeBron AD Micic Knecht Martin Rui Valanciunas

Brooklyn needs and wants to tank but they´re too good, that´s why they send Schröder and DFS to the Lakers for Dlo´s expiring contract Gabe Vincent to match the salary and a very valuable pick in 2031.

The Hornets give up 2 veterans, who don´t fit their timeline for 2 young guys in JHS, Lewis and 2 2nd round picks, aswell as Vando to match the salary.

About the same is also why the wizards do this deal, to get rid of Valanciunas and open up more minutes for Sarr and their young guys.

I personally think these are some fair trades, which could really help the Lakers in maximizing their time left with LeBron, without giving up too much. I don´t think they´re real contenders because of this move, but I can see them sneak into a 4th-6th range spot in the regular season, and beeing a dark horse going into the playoffs.
