Only presenting this because I read some NBA insider say now that the Bulls may end up buying out Vucevic, so this is based upon only IF that rumor is true. Assuming the buyout for big Val is agreed upon that he'll take $0 of his contract so he can go play in Greece, add Chicago to Denver's other trade deals so he can be re-routed there. Again, this is based upon only if the rumor that the Bulls may buy out Vucevic, they'd do this because (a) instead of buying him out for "x" amount of dollars that they have to spend and will also count against their cap, they now get to spend $0 and have $0 against the cap, while (b) also gaining a young player under control for 2 years. Nothing changes for the Nets and Kings, so they are already "yes" votes on this. As for Denver, you're still lowering your overall salary and paying Vucevic $20 million as a backup but just for one year. And if he works out, re-sign him next year for a few years at a lower cost.
