Kawhi and Kyrie to Toronto

FAILED

Mavs and Clippers fans - what else would it take to make this deal? Do you like the foundation at all?

For the Clippers: Is there a reason to keep a 35 year old Kawhi? Ingram doesn't solve all of your problems, but it allows you to get younger, add additional draft capital, and more cap space. Feels like their contention window has closed, and a lineup of Garland-Mathurin-DJJ-Ingram-Jackson is still respectable. Also gives them a FRP in this years draft.

For the Mavs: Do you guys believe this team can contend with Kyrie and Klay healthy? From the outside looking in, it doesn't appear so. This trade makes the team younger and adds two talented offensive players to support Coop - a big need. In my eyes you trade the two vets while you can for players with more upside, one of which is on an expiring contract. IQ/Nembhard-RJ/Christie-Marshall/Martin-Flagg/PJ-Gafford/Lively. Not a bad 10 man rotation.

If you do like the foundation, is the value fair? What else would it take if not?
