Why Each Team Does This:

Miami Heat- They fix all the holes on their team. Mitchell brings the heat another offensive threat, Patrick Beverley is the perfect guard to place alongside Mitchell, and with the acquisition of Turner it helps the heat move Bam to the power forward position which would help him defensively and offensively. Defensively Bam could focus more on the other team's best player and not have to worry about protecting the rim. Offensively a smaller player would be on Bam making it easier for him to score on offensive. Morris brings them backup power foward minutes. Days, and Garrett are young guys the heat see potential in and can be used as cheap third string players.

Orlando Magic- They get their guard of the future. I know they have a log jam at the guard position but of the guards they have no guards that has all star potential the guards they have are good role players. Tyler Herro has All Star potential and would be a great player to build around with Banchero. Banchero and Herro would be the future of the magic.

Utah Jazz- They get 4 young player on long contracts and 5 unprotected first round picks, 2 pick swaps, and one second round pick. They could flip Bertans and Robinson's contract later in the season or offseason. For example Robinson can be included in a Westbrook trade where they trade Conley, Clarkson, Robinson, and Bogdanovic for Westbrook, THT, Nunn, 2027 first round pick, and 2029 first round pick.

Dallas Mavericks- They go all in and try to win now. They add more shooting off the bench with Strus. With Lowry they replace the playmaking Brunson brought to them in last seasons postseason. They get those two players for player not in the lineup or players they are going to let walk in free agency.

Indiana Pacers- They get two young players and a first round pick for Turner. If the young players don't work out they can let them walk in free agency and they aren't paying them much for this season. Powell could be used at the trade deadline as a trade piece to a contender for a second round pick or a young player.
