The Warriors' future picks post-Steph will be immensely valuable, and could explain why their talent-grabbing has been lackluster. By no means does this make them contenders, but it allows the Warriors to maintain competitiveness throughout next season with Jimmy being out till around March.
For the Blazers, this move gives them contract flexibility by taking on an expiring contract and a 2-year deal from Moody in exchange for pricey 2-year deals from vets. This also opens up room for shots, most specifically from Dame, who will be returning from injury. Assuming they retain their top 14 protected pick, they'll have two 1sts they can sign to rookie contracts to replace Thybulle and Blake. I'd prefer they resign Williams, but it'd have to have injury stipulations for it to be a value add.
